The prongs holding the ring in place are a bit different than I was expecting. They are higher up and a bit pronounced on the actual ring than it appears on the picture.

This ring is absolutely gorgeous. The polish is high quality and the craftsmanship of the ring is first class. It is a lot sturdier than I expected and it has a lot of life to it.

This setting is great, it makes the main stone look really big. I picked a 1 carat emereld cut, and everyone is asking her if it is a 1.5 or 2 carat. Its the perfect setting if your girl likes the antique style rings like mine does.
