Prong SetProng Set is the use of metal wire to hold a gemstone in place by tension. A notch is cut out on the inside of the prong to seat a stone into its place. The prongs are pulled over the top of the stone to hold it.

ColorA grade given to a diamond to describe the color tones of the stone. The color scale ranges from D, meaning completely colorless, to Z, fancy yellow. As the scale moves from D to Z, it indicates increasing levels of yellow and brown tone.

Looks good, but wished they made a thinner band (~2mm) for this type/style of ring.
The ring looks pretty much just like the picture. Was hoping they made the same ring, but with a thinner band. This way the diamonds would stand out more. I've seen the same ring but with 2.1mm band (blue nile), and it looks a little sharper.

My husband proposed in 2007 with a rather large princess cut diamond, in this setting. We married in November of 2008 and I honestly, still stare at my ring for long periods of time, EVERY day. LOL I get compliments on my ring daily, and think the princess cut looks best with this setting. The princess cut helps the invisible side diamonds flare more.
