Prong SetProng Set is the use of metal wire to hold a gemstone in place by tension. A notch is cut out on the inside of the prong to seat a stone into its place. The prongs are pulled over the top of the stone to hold it.

I am from the UK and bought this ring not only due to value for money but also due to the fact that I have not seen this design in any high street store over here. Note that anyone buying a ring from over seas, there will most probably be vat and duty to be paid so factor this cost in when purchasing.

The ring looked as it did on the site. Used the diamond sizing chart and dimensions to help determine the actual size of the diamond. The ring was as good, if not better, than expected.

I bought this ring along with a heart shape .91 carat, F color, VVS1 diamond, saved about 2K on it. I was skeptical at first but after much research decided to make the order online and have it shipped here to Canada (took 3-4 business days). First the customer service was excellent. I was in America for a very short time and they found a diamond that fit my fairly specific criteria, assembled and overnight shipped in a matter of days. The ring was very nice, the diamond is beautiful but I personally thought the setting was just a little less than perfect. However I am sort of a perfectionist and they had less than a day to set my stone to meet my delivery request. My Fiance who is Japanese didn''t even notice.
