Common Engagement Ring Customizations
One of the many perks of purchasing a diamond ring directly from the manufacturer is the ability to customize any ring on our site. Common customizations are not the only customizations available; they are the most requested. Multiple customizations can be added to a ring.
How do you add customizations to your order? Make a note of the customizations you would like in the comments section during checkout. Once your order is placed, we will update it with the customizations and pricing and send you a new confirmation email.

Hidden Halo
You can customize any ring with a hidden halo. A standard hidden halo is a row of diamonds that is placed in between the prongs and visible from the side view. It is not visible from the top view. Rings with a standard prong are updated to a basket in order to accomodate a hidden halo.
Outside Hidden Halo
An outside hidden halo is a row of diamonds that goes AROUND the outside of the prongs, is visible from the side, and is not visible from the top view. An outside hidden halo can be added to almost any ring. This customization is a common choice for rings with larger center stones.
Peekaboo Halo
This customization is similar to an outside hidden halo. A peekaboo halo is a row of diamonds that are placed at an angle under the girdle of the main stone. The angle and placement makes the halo slightly visible from the top and side views. This type of hidden halo increases the appearance of the size of the center stone when viewed from the top. A peekaboo halo can be added to any ring on the site.
Diamond On the Prongs
Adding diamond on the prongs of an engagement ring is literally just that, adorning your engagement ring with more sparkle that can be seen from the side. This add-on pairs nicely with a Hidden Halo or Outside Hidden Halo for those who love all the extra sparkle.
Platinum Basket/Prong
Adding a platinum basket to a setting with a band of another color (yellow gold or rose gold) metal is a great add-on for those looking to make their center stone pop. We recommend platinum as an option for two tone choice vs white gold. Platinum is a naturally white metal and will maintain its color and contrast for the life of your ring. A hidden halo can also be added to a platinum basket.
Custom Contour Prong
A Custom Contour Prong not only holds your diamond in place, it also "contours" to the shape of your center diamond. Contour prongs are soft and rounded vs squared off like a standard prong. They can be made for all diamond shapes and carat weights.
Tulip Prong
A Tulip prong is a prong that holds a center stone. Each prong is shaped like a tulip petal and can be substituted in place of a standard prong or basket prong. They can be made in a 6 prong or 4 prong version for any size, any shape center diamond.
